At Levi9, we believe that exceptional technical achievements are driven by collective expertise, and teams that consistently push boundaries together. Recognizing this, we’ve introduced Tech Team in the Spotlight within the Novi Sad Delivery Center – an initiative designed to celebrate teams that deliver remarkable results.
This recognition puts the spotlight on teams that excel in technical delivery, bring forward creative and scalable solutions, create meaningful impact for clients and end users, and foster a culture built on trust, accountability, and teamwork.
What makes a TaaS team truly exceptional?
As a trusted TaaS provider, Levi9 delivers dedicated, scalable development teams that align with our clients’ unique business objectives and technical requirements. Through this initiative, we want to shine a light on these teams, celebrating their achievements and sharing the real-world impact they create for the clients and projects they serve.
The evaluation is based on five key categories:
- Technical excellence – code quality, architecture, CI/CD and DevOps efficiency, and security best practices
- Innovation & problem-solving – use of new technologies, frameworks, or creative approaches to overcome complex challenges
- Customer satisfaction & impact – tangible value delivered to the client, positive feedback, and clear business outcomes
- Measurable outcomes – delivery speed, low defect rates, and efficiency in resolving issues
- Team dynamics & leadership – ownership, proactive mindset, and cross-functional collaboration
Team in the Spotlight: AI Powered Development Team
The second team to receive the Tech Team in the Spotlight recognition is AI Powered Development Team! This temporary, dedicated team was formed specifically for a time-boxed initiative aimed at transforming how NS Groep approaches software development. Over the course of this experiment, they successfully integrated AI tools across the entire Software Development Life Cycle, from planning and prototyping to testing and documentation.
What colleagues highlighted about this team was their strategic approach to AI adoption. They’ve successfully operationalized a comprehensive suite of AI tools, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Sonar AI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Atlassian Intelligence, Copilot4DevOps, Replit, and Lovable, guiding teams through their usage during the hackathon. However, only the white-listed tools were adopted for everyday development workflows. This wasn’t just about introducing new technology, it was about fundamentally enhancing how teams work, think, and deliver. What makes this achievement even more impressive is that team members stepped outside their day-to-day roles to rapidly explore and master this complex, emerging technology landscape, and then confidently trained NS Groep teams on these tools, becoming trusted guides in the organization’s AI transformation journey.
The team’s technical excellence shines through their disciplined use of CI/CD best practices, now enhanced with AI-powered pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and documentation generation. Security remains a top priority, with the team proactively addressing vulnerabilities by embedding secure coding practices and collaborating closely with NS Cybersecurity to ensure all AI tooling aligns with enterprise security standards.
Their innovative approach is both strategic and hands-on. Through intensive training workshops and an 8-hour hackathon, they enabled rapid prototyping and performance optimization across multiple teams. By leveraging cutting-edge frameworks like Jira AI, Mural/Miro AI, and various coding assistants, they’ve significantly accelerated development cycles while elevating code quality throughout the organization.
What truly sets this team apart is their commitment to knowledge sharing and continuity. They established a structured weekly journaling practice for each participating team in the program, ensuring that rotating mentors can seamlessly transition and maintain high-quality support without disruption. This proactive approach has proven essential in sustaining alignment and momentum throughout the initiative.
The team has also implemented robust measurement practices, tracking GitHub Copilot usage, code suggestion and acceptance rates, as well as qualitative measures like comfort levels and confidence with AI tools over time. Weekly reporting provides transparency and enables continuous monitoring of performance and impact.
Big kudos to AI Powered Development Team for their great work: Novak Pantelic, Dragana Acanski, Nenad Resimic, Najdan Tomic, Brane Ivanovic, Damir Maricic, Marko Suker, Milica Drobac Grujicic, and Dusan Maric! We are excited to witness their continued impact and to see what the next team in the spotlight will be!
