To recognize and highlight colleagues who continuously push the boundaries of technical excellence, we’ve launched a new initiative within the Belgrade Delivery Center – Tech Leader of the Quarter.
This quarterly award is designed to celebrate a levi niner who demonstrates exceptional technical knowledge, dedication, and leadership that make a visible impact on both the team and projects. Our goal is to motivate and reward individuals who inspire others, share their knowledge, and actively contribute to our collective success.
How does it work?
The process is simple: colleagues nominate colleagues. Anyone can submit a nomination for someone they believe made a strong mark in the previous quarter. Nominations are submitted via a form that covers clearly defined criteria – from technical expertise and leadership to mentoring and alignment with company values.
What do we look for in a nomination?
Nominations are evaluated based on multiple areas of contribution:
- Technical excellence and innovation: ability to solve complex problems, introduce new approaches, and translate technical knowledge into real-world impact
- Leadership and mentorship: leads by example, shares knowledge, and encourages others to grow
- Impact on project success: contributes to system stability, performance, and achievement of project goals
- Continuous learning and adaptability: keeps up with trends and quickly adopts new technologies
- Alignment with company values: transparency, proactiveness, results-oriented mindset, and loyalty
Who took the title for Q1 2025?
The competition was strong, with multiple nominations, but Nenad Resimić, Test Lead, earned the highest score. Nenad stood out as someone who consistently demonstrates technical depth, leads by example, and has a strong and measurable impact on the team and the projects he supports.
Colleagues who nominated Nenad highlighted his work on improving the test automation framework, significantly speeding up and increasing test reliability. He introduced automation in projects that previously had none, while also building testing architecture in line with best practices. His work not only improved system efficiency and stability, but also encouraged a proactive, exploratory mindset within teams. Clients who were initially skeptical about automation became more engaged and curious through Nenad’s enthusiasm and expertise, bringing ideas that continued to grow even after the project ended.
He is known for keeping the bigger picture in mind and always thinking ahead. “Nenad has proposed and implemented a number of system improvements and led key initiatives in automation, integration testing, and end-to-end validation. With his meticulous approach and strong sense of ownership, no detail goes unnoticed,” one colleague noted.
Another colleague added: “Whatever technology he’s working with, Nenad is always up to date with the latest tools and updates—and more importantly, he knows how to apply them in practice. He creates a positive vibe that brings the entire team together.”
And the prize?
As part of the recognition, Nenad had the chance to pick a prize from our award hat—and walked away with a Huawei Watch GT 4. Other options in the mix were equally cool: Sony WH-1000XM5 Bluetooth headphones, Raspberry Pi 400 kit, and an Amazon Kindle.
We congratulate Nenad on this well-deserved recognition and thank everyone who took the time to submit nominations. We believe that a culture of recognition is something we build consciously and consistently—and this initiative gives every levi niner the opportunity to shine through their work, knowledge, and impact.
