The project Marko works on relied on CDK for Terraform – until CDK TF was announced for decommissioning. What looked like a significant disruption, scoped at roughly 6.5 months of work for 1.5 FTEs, became something very different in Marko’s hands.
He took full ownership of the analysis: mapping the existing codebase, identifying dependencies across environments, and charting a migration path toward OpenTofu. Then he executed it – in approximately 60 hours of dedicated work.
