At Levi9, we strongly believe in supporting tech communities, sharing knowledge, and staying on top of the latest cloud innovations. That’s why we were proud to be a Bronze Sponsor of AWS Community Day Adria 2025 in Sarajevo.
This year’s Community Day gathered experts, enthusiasts, and AWS User Groups from across the Balkans – Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia. The energy and number of enthusiasts at the event was great. The talks were up to the point with interests, and many of them at the just right level of depth.
Our levi niners were there to learn, connect, and bring back valuable insights for our teams and clients. Seeing Levi9 among the sponsors felt rewarding, it’s great to see our company visibly supporting the AWS community.
Key Insights from the Community
Nikola Đorđević, Solution Architect shared:
“I was impressed by the quality of the sessions and the choice of speakers. The event was excellently organized, full of energy, and the talks were relevant and delivered with the right depth.”
One of the highlights for him was Alfredo Castillo’s talk, Multi-Agent System Patterns: Architectures for Next-Generation AI Solutions. Castillo described AI agents in an engaging way and explained different types of agent-to-agent communication, which gave Nikola new perspectives on how these systems can be structured.
Key insights for Nikola also came from multi-agent AI systems more broadly and new tools like Kiro – AI IDE.
“The most relevant insight is the need to carefully evaluate when to use AI and when to implement automated processes. Integrating this understanding into our business ideas and client solutions can lead to more effective and efficient outcomes.”

Building a Balkan Tech Network
Dejan Martinovski, DevOps Tech Lead, was part of the organizing team, so had a unique perspective on the event:
“I was truly impressed by how well organized AWS Community Day Adria 2025 was, with many engaging, high-quality talks. What many people might not realize is that this event was not directly run by AWS but organized by AWS User Groups in Bosnia. Organizing such an event requires tremendous effort and dedication, so I want to applaud the organizers for their hard work.
I was also happy to see that the organizers involved AWS User Groups from across the Balkans, including Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and of course Serbia, to help them to manage the event. This truly made it a regional community day.
Personally, it was a proud moment to be part of the organizing team as a member of the AWS User Group Serbia, representing both my country and my company in the best way I can.
Seeing Levi9 as a Bronze Sponsor was another highlight. Over the years, Levi9 has built strong AWS expertise, with more than 300 certified professionals, multiple competencies, and SDP recognition programs. Supporting the AWS User Group Zrenjanin is another way we contribute to the community. These milestones reflect the dedication of many levi niners, and it felt meaningful to see that effort represented at the event.”

Among the many sessions he hosted and attended, one stood out:
“Sebastian Novak session AI Agent Workflows and Event-Driven Architectures was excellent. He demonstrated why it’s not a good idea to give AI full control over your infrastructure or rely entirely on it to manage it, because you will have big mess. He also highlighted that AI could make mistakes, for example, providing a real estate customer with a response about a property worth $2,000,000 in a mix of English and Arabic. The key takeaway is that AI-generated outputs still need to be carefully validated before being shared with end users.”
Dejan also discovered AWS Fault Injection Simulator (FIS):
“AWS Fault Injection Simulator (FIS) is a managed service that helps measure the resiliency of your AWS resources and tests how quickly your applications can recover from failures at the application, infrastructure, availability zone, or AWS Region level.”
Balancing AI and Automation
Ivan Đokić, DevOps Tech Lead, emphasized the importance of strategic AI use, focusing on this aspect of the program. Sessions provided him with a clearer picture of how AWS services are being utilized in real-world scenarios.

“Alfredo Castillo’s session was a highlight. His breakdown of multi-agent systems and their role in financial services was both innovative and practical. I especially appreciated his point about knowing when to use AI versus when a structured automation flow is more appropriate.”
Ivan says that the biggest takeaway is the need to understand not just what AI can do, but when it should be used. “One key insight was the importance of evaluating when AI adds real value versus when a well-designed automated process is more efficient. Balancing AI with traditional automation is key to building smart, sustainable solutions.”
High Standards for the Future
DevOps Duško Milićev summed it up:
“The event exceeded all expectations, with excellent organization and a series of strong sessions.” He attended sessions on AI and infrastructure resilience:
“AI and infrastructure resilience dominated many discussions. The key lesson for me is that we should keep focusing on how AI can be applied to strengthen real-world solutions.”
Beyond Sponsorship
For Levi9, AWS Community Day Adria 2025 was more than sponsorship, it was about active participation, regional collaboration, and empowering our niners to bring back practical insights on AI, automation, and cloud infrastructure to share with our teams and clients.

As our levi niners put it, the bar is high, but the future is promising. While it may be too early to plan for Serbia, the idea of hosting an AWS Community Day here one day is an exciting thought that inspires us. With teamwork and collaboration like in Sarajevo, we are confident we can make it happen.
Levi9 will continue to support the AWS community and drive value through cloud innovation.
