Hack9 is a hackathon we have been organizing for eight years, and it has become synonymous with innovation and an opportunity to test the latest technologies in a dynamic environment. This year’s theme once again highlighted one of today’s most trending fields—artificial intelligence.

AI took center stage at Hack9 for the second year in a row, offering countless possibilities for exploration and development. In 2023, the focus was on AI Computer Vision, while in 2024, the spotlight shifted to Generative AI, widely recognized through tools like ChatGPT.

This year’s hackathon gathered nearly 100 Levi Niners from all Delivery Centers. Among the 18 competing teams, Serbian teams claimed two out of the three spots on the winners’ podium with their ideas “RecyclAi” and “Ctrl+Alt+Defeat.” Artificial intelligence also played a role as a judge, assisting in the selection of winning solutions through prompts designed by the organizing team.
