From Management to Leadership: Investing in Our People’s Growth

At Levi9, we believe that great leaders aren’t born – they’re developed through continuous learning, practical tools, and the courage to challenge their own perspectives. That’s why last week, colleagues from one of our delivery units participated in a two-day Management 3.0 workshop, an experience that perfectly embodies our commitment to empowering our people.

Management 3.0 represents a modern approach to leadership that moves beyond traditional hierarchies, focusing instead on agility, self-organization, and what truly motivates people. Working with facilitator Josip Bošnjaković, participants engaged in interactive exercises and discussions, learning how to better understand people and the circumstances in which they work – so they can respond as leaders more thoughtfully and effectively.

When leaders gain tools to create environments where teams thrive, the impact ripples through entire projects – making everyone more motivated, resilient, and prepared for whatever comes next. As Predrag Kapamadžin, our Delivery Director, explains: “Management 3.0 helps us discover what truly drives people and turn that into results. When teams understand their own motivators, change becomes an opportunity, not an obstacle.”

For Jovana Joksimović, a Delivery Manager who attended the workshop, this wasn’t just another training session. “Management 3.0 is one of the rare workshops that managed to mentally challenge me, make me think differently, and invite me to re-examine my previous leadership decisions,” she shares. “Beyond this, I gained a set of tools that I found applicable immediately after the workshop, both personally and professionally. The atmosphere during the two days was excellent, participants were active, and the trainer was full of practical examples and answers to our questions.”

We understand that in the fast-paced IT industry, the ability to adapt, lead effectively, and foster collaborative environments isn’t optional – it’s essential. That’s why we’re dedicated to providing our teams with opportunities to develop both technical and soft skills, explore new methodologies, and challenge themselves in supportive environments.

“Workshops like these are part of our commitment to developing our people and strengthening leadership skills,” says Nikolina Romakov, our Learning and Development Partner. “We believe that when leaders know how to support autonomy, bring clarity, and build trust, teams become more engaged, productive, and ready for the challenges ahead.”

At Levi9, development is an ongoing process, and we’re committed to supporting our people’s growth every step of the way. Kudos to our colleagues for investing two days in sharpening their leadership skills – now comes the exciting part: putting it all into practice!
