Exploring Product Analytics: Insights from Our DM Community Event

Understanding what users actually do with a product can be a game changer. Product analytics helps teams turn insights into smarter decisions and faster growth. That was the main message of our recent meetup, which brought this topic closer through real-life examples and a live demonstration.

The idea for this session came from our work on the PVH account, where Damir Tukodi, Delivery Manager at Levi9 Serbia, recognized how impactful product analytics can be and initiated this knowledge-sharing event. Our guest speaker was Yin-Jen Lee, Product Owner at PVH, who joined us in Novi Sad to share his experience and perspective on using analytics to drive innovation.

During the session, Damir highlighted how his team uses product analytics to benefit both their work and the client, emphasizing the importance of user experience. He pointed out that as many as 50% of users may abandon a product after just one bad experience -whether it’s an app crash or a wrong step in the user journey – which shows how crucial every detail in product quality is.

The meetup was held in a hybrid format – live in Novi Sad and streamed online for our colleagues – in Serbia, but also in Romania and Ukraine.

The session combined practical examples and a live demonstration, showing how data can guide product decisions.

“I think the most difficult part is to think of what is the most important metric we are going to track. We’re not going to track everything because it’s too overwhelming.”
Yin-Jen Lee

The session sparked meaningful discussion about how data can help us better understand user behavior, anticipate issues, and continuously improve our products. It’s organized by our Delivery Management Community, one of the most active communities in Levi9 Serbia. Since its formal launch in early 2023, it has become a space for learning, collaboration, and open discussion for colleagues across both delivery centers.

The recording of this session is now available for everyone interested in the topic:

Reason #612: We love to share our knowledge.
